- 很多细节取材自唐传奇，整体推理弱了一些，奇幻元素补足了可看性。相比其它国产剧好在，它的人物创作没有受偶像剧模式影响，性格有缺陷，人设很不讨好，演员没有整容脸，普遍脸生。它是近期古装剧里，唯一让皇帝成为反派boss的剧。
- 作画方面，水墨渲染，尽显中国山水画的写意诗情；作为国漫相对薄弱的故事层面，也没有让人失望，延续之前剧情，为观众徐徐展开一副波澜壮景，人神妖三界，众仙归位，正邪混沌如麻，大战一触即发。
