- 年代感还原是需要表扬的，演员选角失败了一半，对原作的改编基本是失败的，特别是最后一集。要诚实，要善良，不要相互遗忘，李斐的悲剧正是源于这个正确的信念，她没有长大，长大的是庄树。而庄树的确应该在想象中重新回到离开圣诞派对的一刻，去那片野地，去赴那场火焰之约。
- 看完了，有的人拿来跟侯孝贤对比。其实不能比，不是水平高下的问题。而是侯孝贤拍摄的那些小人物，能明显的感觉到，候导真心喜欢他们。这个戏里的人物，感觉导演不喜欢他们。《八月》里，导演是喜欢小男主以及里面的很多人的。这里可能唯一让人感觉到导演喜欢的就是男主小时候。
