- 1998年寒假，央视首播，对这个天煞孤星改革家印象很深，对摊丁入亩等新政有所了解，骂老八等人胤祥喷血情节更感奇特，颠覆了评书演绎的雍正形象。如今再看，感觉对于帝王美化过度，同为刘和平编剧，但比之于大明王朝，作为导演的胡玫和张黎的历史观有差距，世上哪有鞠躬尽瘁者背后无权力之阴影？
- 播出20年了，我漫长的看了好久第一次看完这部片子。恶语扔给干实事务实的雍正，全部的光环赞美都给了他的老子和儿子。编剧写出的这么具有戏剧性的解释我非常能接受，因为人生也是如此。
