- 优于《甄嬛传》之处在于宫中人时时刻刻意识到自己被封建帝制所奴役，感受到身处深宫之无奈痛苦，盼望逃离。然而，剧情太过松散，主线不明、支线凌乱、结局潦草，且经常有硬生生将美好的事情毁灭给人看的刻意。感情纠葛复杂且老套，全是多角恋，不知道的还以为孔武和孙白扬才是紫禁城的皇帝。
