- 不明白那些打一星的就因为觉得王凯显老？47集讲述改革开放十几年的跨度还嫌拖沓？还有不解释的！还有嫌恶心的（究竟哪儿恶心也没说）……就因为这些牵强的理由就打一星，那这些人还是去看偶像剧吧，这剧不适合他们。
- 从细节和氛围上，历史还原度很高，真实可信。让人回忆起7，80年代那些艰难却又火热的生活。王凯细腻的表演，情绪的细致表现，刻画出人物的性格特质和年代气息，让人看到一个一直生活在出身不好的阴影下成长起来的内向却又倔强的少年宋运辉。其他演员的表演也都细腻完美，尤其饰演姐姐宋运萍的童瑶，用细腻真挚的表演，很好的刻画了一个坚强宽容隐忍的姐姐形象。
