- In 1971 Jiaunguo's grandparents meet for the first time thanks to a ball of red yarn. Some 20 years later, Jiaunguo and Xue as toddlers meet the same way. - 小苦瓜一家的故事，小苦瓜们小时候倒是挺可爱的，但是长大了不能看。而且我真是受够了年代文年代剧里，苦瓜男主必须给配一个高官家的白富美这种设定了，白富美招谁惹谁了要参与你们家的脱贫攻坚战。
- 普普通通年代剧，海报和人世间差不多，内容上也基本就那样，不难看但也没特别出彩
