- 剧情架构比康熙王朝打副本通关式的单一结构好，人物形象也更饱满有力；人物塑造还是受限于高大全的文艺潜规则，二月河小说中本意已经塑造为正面人物，但也写了不少阴刻之处，到了剧中则对雍正的缺点表现得更为隐晦，形象几近圣君，有失人物复杂性；《雍正王朝》当年热播，尤其九子夺嫡一段，恐怕对后世宫斗类电视剧有不少影响
