- 台词文本、人物塑造、布景气氛、词赋配乐，再也找不到其他更胜于此剧的红楼梦版本了。各个角色的演绎非常贴合原著，还是这个版本经典，难以超越，国宝级电视剧。还有永远的陈晓旭~~~~10颗星满分。
- 木心认为《红楼梦》戳穿了讲是看故事，我觉得戳穿了讲是看结构。其文字叙事精彩绝伦，蒙太奇感极佳，完全可作电影看。87版演员最好看，配乐有功有过，摄影平庸，剪辑则是灾难。注意力应放在文学性上，而不是内容上，不然易起好恶。可惜它偏偏剔除了那些真正迷人的角落，极力侧重戏剧性和世俗化的塑造。
